ABOUT The Artist

Hi! I’m Evelyn! As an artist, I have been inspired by so much beauty in nature and the power of art to promote healing and growth. Being raised on a sheep farm in rural NJ gave me a unique opportunity to develop a strong work ethic, respect for nature, and an eye for appreciating the sublime beauty of our world.

My mother, who is also an artist, nurtured my creative side from a very young age. I was lucky to learn and dabble in so many different artistic endeavors through the years.  These passions have blossomed in adulthood to further expanding my interests in painting. Having only started oil painting in 2021, I hope you will see a maturing and honing of skills as I mature as an artist.

If I’m not doing some sort of creative project you’ll most likely find me reading or hiking with my family and German Shepherd. As a foster parent as well as biological mom to two young boys my days are jam packed and my artwork is typically fit in between the go-go-go of our normal days. In addition to loving fine art, I also have a Master of Science degree in Digital Innovation & Marketing from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in English & Sociology.
